Personal Experience

Ms. Davis has established herself as an authoritative resource in probate and trust litigation. Her services include contested wills and trusts, as well as elder financial abuse, fiduciary accountability, spousal rights, creditors’ claims, and related issues. She also assists clients with trust and probate administration and preparation of estate planning documents such as wills and trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives. Her services encompass dispute resolution, mediation, and negotiation.

Recognizing the needs of clients for competent, compassionate service associated with probate, Ms. Davis chose her probate law specialty following earlier experience that included service in the City Attorney Offices in Oakland and the City of Alameda as well as the County District Attorney Office in San Rafael. With two East Bay law firms Ms. Davis gained experience in trust and probate litigation and estate planning while also handling cases involving real property, business transactions, personal injury, and construction disputes.

Ms. Davis received her J.D. degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law following her undergraduate study at the University of California, Berkeley where she majored in History. She serves as a member of the board of the Legal Assistance for Seniors of Alameda County and is a member of the Alameda County Bar Association where she is a member of its Trust and Estate Executive Committee.

In addition to serving clients with probate and trust issues, Ms. Davis provides co-counsel services to other lawyers. She invites inquires and offers no-fee introductory consultations.
